Marine Energy and Smart Grid Technology Workshop

WELCOME

This two-day workshop was held on 10th and 11th May in Farmleigh House, Dublin and in the Parliament Buildings, Belfast and was hosted by the US Embassy in partnership with Northern Ireland’s Department for Enterprise Trade and Investment, The Irish Department of Communications, Marine and Natural Resources, Invest NI, Enterprise Ireland, Sustainable Energy Ireland, IBEC-CBI and InterTradeIreland.

The event provided delegates with a unique opportunity to create research and business opportunities for the USA and the island of Ireland by developing new collaborative projects and exploring new business opportunities. Almost 160 attendees, from Ireland, Northern Ireland and the United States attended the event and heard keynotes addresses from senior government representatives from the island and high level personalities from the US.
